International Investment Bank Interested in Expanding Presence in Uzbekistan

The prospects for expanding Goldman Sachs' operations in the country's market were reviewed at the Uzbek diplomatic mission in London. The parties decided to connect the bank's representatives with the heads of the republic's leading companies and commercial banks.
Grigory Goncharov, Executive Director for Emerging Markets Sales at Goldman Sachs, participated in the meeting. He specifically noted the bank's long-standing cooperation with the Central Bank of Uzbekistan and expressed interest in continuing the partnership with the republic.
The expected outcome of the upcoming contacts is the exploration of new areas of cooperation and more active practical engagement between the parties.
