SpaceX has closed $40 billion in debt financing to purchase graphics processors. Elon Musk stated that the company has an investment-grade rating and generates revenue from the Starlink satellite internet service and rocket launches.
He also stated that debt markets have nearly completely shut off financing access for companies without substantial revenue outside of AI data centers.
Musk predicts that over 200 so-called neocloud companies will face mass market exits and consolidation, with only a small fraction surviving.
